Editor's Note
It was built in 1682 by Hacı Ali bin Mehmet Ağa (Çalık Hacı Ali). On 25 January 2018, a rocket fired from Syria struck the area, killing and wounding people and also severely damaging the mosque. The historic mosque was subsequently restored.
