Editor's Note
The two figures buried in the tomb, Şeyh Mehmet Bahaeddin Bağdadi and Şeyh Mehmet Şahabettin, are said to have been martyred here in the Hijri year 644 (1246 CE). Judging by its architectural features, the tomb is thought to have been built in the 19th century. A photograph of the tomb appears in the Abdülhamid II Albums. It was restored in 2014 by the General Directorate of Foundations.
