Editor's Note
According to the construction inscription on the minaret in the courtyard of the Akcurun Mosque, it was built in 1583 by Seyyide Fatma, daughter of Hasan. Records note that the mosque's founder was Şeyh Davut Ağa. Severely damaged in the earthquakes of 6 February 2023, one of the mosque's walls collapsed on its own on 21 March 2023.
