Editor's Note
From the plaque above the entrance door, it can be seen that the mosque was built in 1620 and repaired in 2015 by the Turkish Directorate General of Foundations. After being damaged in the 6 February 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, it was again repaired by the Directorate General of Foundations and reopened for worship in 2025.
