Editor's Note
The bridge has no foundation inscription. It can be argued that the structure, identified as part of an aqueduct built to carry water from the Kataraktes (Düden) River across the present stream bed to Perge, was later, in the Seljuk era and the 13th century, converted into a bridge serving the historic road between Antalya and Alanya.
