It lies within the boundaries of the village of Bayırkozağacı in the town of Güzelbağ in Alanya, about 30 kilometers northeast of Alanya. The city center sits within a valley. A. Albek describes the city as a settlement bearing traces of the Hellenistic period, located east of Pisidia and west of Cilicia. Written sources indicate that life in the city continued into the Middle Ages. Of the two temples standing 70–80 meters apart, the western one is preserved almost to roof level. Access to the structures in the city center is provided by stairways carved into the rock.
