Editor's Note

In the village of Türkler in the Alanya district of Antalya Province, an on-site inspection by experts from the Alanya Museum Directorate, conducted within the "Türkler Municipality Picnic Area Park" just along the northern edge of the D-400 highway, identified an olive press. As it was determined to fall within the scope of Articles 3 and 6 of Law No. 2863 on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Property, it was registered as an "Immovable Cultural Property Requiring Protection." Its protected zone was defined as shown on the 1/2000-scale map attached to our decision, and within the protected area, Article 8 of Law No. 2863 applies.
