Editor's Note
Because the mosque in the village of Sarihacilar has no inscription, it is not known by whom or when it was commissioned. However, taking into account the repair inscription stating that it was commissioned in 1325 AH (1907-08) by Haci Mustafa Efendi, son of Hatibzade Haci Mustafa Efendi, a courtier of Sultan Abdulhamid II, it can be accepted as having been built in the 19th century. Built in a rectangular form running north-south, the mosque has a single-balcony minaret on a square base and two sections built at different dates.
