Because the bridge has no construction inscription, it can be dated by its arch form and building technique. It shows features similar to the bridge arch forms and construction techniques of the Seljuk period. In dating it, since the hans, bridges, and cisterns built along the Seljuk-period road routes display similar technique, material, and arch forms, it is thought to have been built in the same period.
