Editor's Note
The mosque, which suffered great damage in a fire that broke out in 1878, was rebuilt. However, in the great fire of 1889, much of the Ibradi district was destroyed, and the mosque was affected by that fire at the time. The date 1312 AH (1894-1895) on the mosque's current inscription marks the year of its last major repair.
