Editor's Note
Erymna, also recorded as Orymna, was a town in ancient Pamphylia or Lycia. Its site lies on a hill between the villages of Ormana and Ürünlü in the İbradı district of Antalya, the modern name Ormana reflecting the ancient one. Very little survives of the settlement: at the foot of the acropolis hill are the foundations of a colonnaded building made of very large stones, a single sarcophagus, and architectural blocks bearing the inscriptions that identify the site. The town is thought to have once belonged to the Katenneis tribe before becoming an independent city, though it never minted its own coinage.
