Editor's Note
Typallia is a Lycian city located at the Karabel locality of Citdibi Village, 27 km from the center of Antalya. Because the ancient city lay on the border between Lycia and Pisidia, archaeologists dispute which league it belonged to. It lies on the ancient Roman road that began at Kitanaura and continued toward Trebenda by way of Kosara. Existing through three periods (Pre-Hellenistic, Hellenistic, and Roman) between 500 BCE and 300 CE, and forming a political union with Termessos along with the three Pisidian cities of Trebenda, Typallia, and Onobara, the city was a garrison settlement.
