Editor's Note
The structure has no inscription. It is known to have been built in 1932. In August 1931, on the slopes of a hill in Antakya, at a place called Bagri Yanik, ground was prepared by the Sisters of St. Joseph to lay the foundation of a hospital, but because the Jewish rabbi of Antakya claimed rights over the ownership of the land, construction could not begin and the works were suspended for several months. Investigations into the matter concluded that the rabbi's claim was not justified. It was established that the plot had previously belonged to the education authority and later passed to the Municipality, to which it still belongs.
