Editor's Note
Saklıkent National Park, commonly known as the Saklıkent Canyon, is a gorge carved by the Karaçay, a tributary of the Eşen River that marks the Antalya-Muğla boundary. It lies within the Seydikemer district of Muğla Province. The canyon formed in easily eroded limestone terrain, aided by fault fractures, creating a steep, deep gorge. About 18 km long and 200 m deep, it narrows to as little as 2 metres at its tightest point.
