On the road from Demre to Kaş, reached after the ancient city of Sura, this is a small, typical Lycian settlement belonging to Myra. On a small hill there is a fortress, with terrace structures on the southern slopes of the fortress; on the flat ground beginning at the foot of the hill there are necropolises, and on the agricultural terraces there are fortification walls, building remains, cisterns, tombs, and remains of workshops. However, because the region's topography is quite rocky and covered with maquis, identifying and discerning the structures has proven difficult.
