In Antalya Province, Alanya District, Aliefendi neighborhood, at the Suludere locality, following an inspection by experts of the Antalya Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage and a review of the information and documents submitted to our Council: ancient agricultural terraces were found on the southern slopes of Kara Tepe, within the boundaries of the Aliefendi and Kargıcak neighborhoods. The roof tiles and ceramic fragments dated to the Byzantine period that were identified here show that the area was an agricultural settlement in Late Antiquity. As the identified ancient remains fall within the scope of Articles 3 and 6 of Law No. 2863, the area was registered for protection.
