Editor's Note
The Hasbahçe Pavilion is a large building complex constructed in the first half of the 13th century in Alanya. Although it has no inscription or endowment deed, researchers attribute the building to Alaeddin Keykubad I. At its center stands a fountain still in use today, alongside a cistern and various other structures. The pavilion building is square in plan, and some of the structures have survived to the present day in ruins. Surrounded by high courtyard walls, the Hasbahçe is an important complex believed to have belonged to a sultan.
