Editor's Note
The Zografeion Lyceum is a Greek-minority educational institution in the Beyoğlu quarter of Istanbul, very close to Taksim Square. Founded in the 19th century as a primary school, it later added middle and high school sections; the primary section closed at the end of the 1973-1974 school year. The school is coeducational and teaches in both Turkish and Greek.
