Editor's Note
The Haraççı Fountain stands beside the Haraççı Kara Mehmet Mosque and its graveyard in the Cibali quarter of Istanbul's Fatih district. It bears no inscription and has a plain design, with a marble bench on each side. Restored by the municipality, the fountain's water still runs.
