Editor's Note
Also known as the Ahmed Ağa Fountain, the Lahanacılar Fountain stands in front of a police station in the Çengelköy neighbourhood of Üsküdar. Dating from the Tanzimat period, it was built by Serkavas Ahmed Ağa. During pavement works in 2018 much of it fell below road level, after which it was raised to street level and restored.
