Located in Istanbul's Kadıköy district, this fountain was built in 1844-1845 by the eunuch Tayfur Ağa together with his adopted son Besim Ağa. In the late 1980s it was moved across the street from its original site, and it was restored by the Kadıköy Municipality in 2007.
