Editor's Note
An Ottoman-period fountain on Katip Sinan Street in the Eminsinan neighborhood of Fatih. Built of classical-style cut limestone, it is plain and undecorated, with cup recesses on either side. Its worn inscription indicates its patron was a benefactor named Mehmet Ağa; its spout is lost and it no longer runs.
