The Ahmet Kemali Efendi Fountain, also known as the Marble Fountain (Mermer Çeşme), was built in 1812 in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul by Ahmet Kemali Efendi, a Rumelian kazasker, chief imam to the sultan, and a composer.
