MCP Server

Kahve Tabela also serves its atlas over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). AI assistants can connect and query Türkiye's cultural-heritage places, GI-registered regional dishes, and the Mavi Koy coastal atlas directly. The server is read-only: it writes nothing, sees no user data, and needs no key.

Connecting

This is a remote (hosted) server — nothing to install or download. It speaks the streamable HTTP transport.

Tools

Eight tools, all read-only. For full input schemas, ask the server's own tools/list.

Tool	What it does
search_places	Find heritage places by province, district, category, or free text.
get_place	Fetch every field of a single place by id.
nearby_places	List places around a coordinate by distance, optionally with the drive-mode audio note.
get_page_markdown	Read a supported page as compact markdown instead of HTML.
search_dishes	Search regional dishes, optionally limited to GI-registered ones.
get_dish	Fetch one dish by slug, including its registration type and number.
search_mavi_koy	Search the Mavi Koy coastal atlas for coves, beaches, and shore points.
get_mavi_koy_place	Fetch one coastal entry by slug.

Usage and limits

No key or registration; reasonable use is appreciated.
Public data only: user accounts, e-mail addresses, and the moderation queue are not on this surface.
Duplicate records are filtered out, so the server never hands you an id that 308-redirects.
Responses are available in Turkish and English (the lang parameter).

Attribution and license

Using the data requires attribution: “Kahve Tabela · Türkiye Cultural Heritage Atlas, kahvetabela.com”. When republishing raw data you must also honour the original source's license (OpenStreetMap ODbL, Wikimedia CC, and so on).
