Selçuk Efes Müzesi
Where every fragment dug from Ephesus since 1929 is laid out — the key to reading the ruins down the road.
Story
Every fragment dug from Ephesus since 1929 lands here, in two adjoining halls a five-minute walk from the ruins. The Artemis statues, the bronze athlete from the Harbour Gymnasium, the Parthian-monument frieze — none of them are at the site itself. Read this museum first; the columns down the road make sense afterwards.
