Goreme Historical National Park is a historical, cultural and natural protected area in Cappadocia, Nevsehir Province, covering nearly 100 km2. It features a rocky, water- and wind-eroded landscape with a network of interconnecting ancient underground settlements, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as Goreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia.
