Dadastana was an ancient city in the region of Bithynia, near the border of Bithynia and Galatia. The Tabula Peutingeriana places it on the road from Nicaea to Juliopolis. It owes its fame to the sudden death there of the Roman emperor Jovian on 17 February 364, while returning from his Syrian campaign.
