Acharaka was a settlement on the road from Tralles to Nysa on the Maeander, 4 km from Nysa. It had a temple of Pluto (a Ploutonion) and a cave called the Charonium where the sick were healed under the supervision of priests. Its site is at the town of Salavatlı near present-day Sultanhisar, and finds from excavations are displayed in the Aydın Archaeology Museum.
