Elbessos (Ancient Greek: Έλβησσός) was a town of ancient Lycia, mentioned in a treaty between Caesar and the Lycian League. Its site lies beside Girdev Lake, at an altitude of about 1,800 metres, in the Seydikemer district of Muğla.
