Editor's Note
Euthenai (Ancient Greek: Εὐθηναί) was a coastal town of ancient Caria on the Gulf of Gökova, thought to hold the remains of a Rhodian Peraia settlement associated with Camirus. At the hilltop there is a walled citadel with small forts at each end, and the steep slope below is covered with tightly packed terraced ruins; an epitaph of a local named Nikokles was found at the foot of the hill near Ovacık. The site lies just west of Karaca village, below Altınsivrisi peak, in the Marmaris district of Muğla.
