Elaeus (also Elaious or Elaios) was an emporium, or trading place, on the coast of ancient Bithynia at the mouth of a river of the same name. According to ancient sources it lay 120 stadia west of Cales. It sits on the north coast of modern Turkey, at the mouth of that namesake river.
