Nusret was a minelayer of the Ottoman Navy that played a celebrated role during the naval battles of the Gallipoli Campaign in World War I. Laid down in 1911 and launched at Kiel, Germany, the ship later served the Turkish Navy in various roles, including minelayer, diver vessel and tender, until 1955.
