Mallus (Mallos) was an ancient Anatolian city at the mouth of the Pyramus (Ceyhan) River in Cilicia. It is thought to have stood on a hill opposite the city of Magarsa, which served as its harbor. Its ruins lie a few km inland from the Mediterranean coast near the Karataş district of Adana; its exact location remains uncertain, and much of its remains are believed to lie buried under the alluvial deposits of the Ceyhan.

At Kızıltahta village in Karataş, a little inland of where the Ceyhan, ancient Pyramos, reaches the sea. Legend gives it two Argive brothers as founders, Amphilochus and Mopsus. Its sharpest moment is with Alexander: he had a bridge thrown over the Pyramos, came to the city, made a votive offering to Amphilochus and exempted Mallus from tribute. Ships from Mallus joined the siege of Tyre. Remains sit on the hilltop, but most of the buildings are thought to lie under the Ceyhan's alluvium. The Catholic Church still counts it a titular see; the last bishop died in 1990 and nobody has been appointed since.
