Syangela was a town and polis (city-state) of ancient Caria, believed to have been a Lelegian settlement. It was a member of the Delian League and appears in the 5th-century BCE tribute lists of ancient Athens. Along with Myndus, it avoided synoecism into Halicarnassus when Mausolus united the other cities of the region into Halicarnassus.
