Gökçeada (Imbros) is the largest island of Turkey, lying in the northeast of the Aegean Sea, west of the Gallipoli Peninsula. It covers 285 km² with 92 km of coastline, and Cape İnce (Avlaka) on its western side forms the westernmost point of Turkey.
