The Servetiye Museum is in the Başiskele district of Kocaeli, built in 2012 under the lead of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality with contributions from the Başiskele municipality and district authority. It displays weapons and tools from the Turkish War of Independence, objects of local culture, and written and visual material from the war period, each shown together with the name of its donor.
