A museum in Ankara built on the grounds of the Forest Farm as an exact replica of the house in Thessaloniki where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic, was born. Commissioned by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce in honor of the 100th anniversary of Atatürk's birth, its foundation was laid on 19 May 1981 and it opened on 10 November 1981. Faithful to the original, the three-storey pink house contains an entrance hall, pantry, sitting rooms, kitchen and an Atatürk room.
