The Alaçam Population Exchange Museum is located in the Alaçam district of Samsun. It displays ethnographic items such as everyday objects, documents and photographs belonging to the people resettled in Samsun through the Turkish-Greek population exchange, and is the first museum in Turkey dedicated to this theme. Open daily between 08:00 and 17:30, it receives more than 10,000 visitors a year.
