Editor's Note
A museum in Yozgat housed in the Nizamoğlu Mansion, an old house built in 1871. The mansion was purchased by the Ministry of Culture in 1979 and, after restoration, opened as a museum in 1985. It holds over 2,800 ethnographic items such as manuscripts, local clothing, carpets and kitchen tools, and over 1,640 archaeological pieces including sculptures, sarcophagi, coins and inscriptions.
