Soğuksu National Park, established on 19 February 1959, lies in the Kızılcahamam district of Ankara Province, about 80 km from the city center. Because it sits in a volcanic area, the hot and cold springs around it are used as thermal baths. Its elevation ranges from about 1,030 to 1,800 m.
