In the Milas district of Muğla, the Gökçeler Canyon runs about 8 kilometres between the villages of Gökçeler and Karacahisar. Along the Değirmen stream that passes through it, close to fourteen flour mills once worked, of which three ruins survive. The canyon holds around thirty caves, chief among them İncirliin and Çatal.
