Euromos was an ancient Carian city in Anatolia; its ruins lie about 12 km northwest of the Milas (ancient Mylasa) district of Muğla, near the Kızılcakuyu quarter. The city was founded at the foot of the Ilbıra mountains running parallel to Mount Latmos, and is said to have been built by Euromos, son of the Carian Idris, and founded in the 8th century BC.
