Kızılada (ancient Lagusa) is an island belonging to Fethiye in the Mediterranean, 6.4 km from the Fethiye shore. It is home to a 19th-century lighthouse converted into a seafood restaurant in 2007 and a nine-room guesthouse opened in 2008, and is a frequent stop for boat tours. Its name (Red Island) is said to come from the way sunset light turns its rock and soil red.
