Karadağ is an extinct volcanic mountain in Karaman province, between southern Konya and northern Karaman, about 30 km from the city of Karaman. It is formed by the merging of three peaks: Baştepe, Kızıltepe and the highest point, Mahalaç Tepe at 2,271 metres. A crater roughly 150 metres in diameter lies on Baştepe.
