Editor's Note
Mount Hasan (Hasandağı) is a volcanic mountain whose summit rises 3,258 metres above sea level. It has two large craters, Greater and Lesser Hasan, and much of Mount Melendiz was formed from lava issuing from them. The Greater Hasan cone holds a well-preserved main crater surrounded by parasitic cones.
