The Alkumru Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant lies in Siirt province of southeastern Turkey, on the Botan Çayı, a tributary of the Tigris. It is a concrete-faced rock-fill dam standing 110 metres above the riverbed and 134 metres from its foundation, with a crest length of 1,058 metres. The plant has a total installed capacity of 265.77 MW and an average annual output of around 900 million kWh.
