Kızören Sinkhole, also called Kızören Obruk or Lake Kızören, is a karst sinkhole containing a lake on the Obruk Plateau, about 65-70 kilometres north-east of Konya in central Turkey. With a diameter of 228 metres and a depth of 171 metres of which 145 metres is filled with water, it is the country's largest sinkhole; the Seljuk-era Obruk Han stands on its western edge, and over-extraction of groundwater is causing the water level to drop.
