The Göksu Delta is the river delta at the confluence of the Göksu River with the Mediterranean Sea, in the Silifke district of Mersin Province. Covering about 15,000 hectares, it is one of the largest coastal wetlands in Turkey, rich in plant and bird life, and has been a Ramsar site since 1994 and an Important Bird Area since 2004.
