The Kızılırmak Delta, also known as the Bafra Plain, is a delta plain and wetland complex formed where the Kızılırmak River flows into the Black Sea in northern Turkey. The third largest delta in the country, it holds the biggest wetland in the region with many coastal lagoons and is a key biodiversity area and an important Ramsar site.
