Editor's Note
A landslide-dammed lake in the Uzungöl neighbourhood of Çaykara district in Trabzon province. It formed when rocks falling from the slopes blocked the Haldizen Stream. The lake is 1,000 metres long, 500 metres wide and up to 15 metres deep, and is part of the Uzungöl Nature Park declared in 1989.
